100% Rosé of Grenache
Nicole is a Santa Cruz surfer making big waves in cool-climate wine, growing super rare grapes in rugged coastal terrain. After working in wine around the world—from Michigan to New Zealand to Santa Cruz—she started her label, Ser, which means “to express origin” in Spanish. Ser specializes in unique single-vine, single-varietal wines that are a pure reflection of where they came from.
Rhubarb, guava, strawberries-and-cream. Nicole describes this Rosé as “what pink might taste like.” The Rosé of Grenache is no after-thought or run-off from a red either. The fruit was grown and picked specifically for this Rosé from Sweetwater Vineyard in cool-climate Monterey county.

We gave the can California coastal vibes as an homage to the ocean’s influence on Nicole’s life and life work — she’s a Santa Cruz surfer that’s making waves with rare grapes and cool-climate wines.
Try a tangy salad, charcuterie, or fresh crab.
The Grenache is grown in a cool climate, picked at lower brix with the intent for Rosé wine. The result shines with varietal Grenache aromas and flavors creating a beautiful, bright Rosé with natural acidity and a creamy mid palate and nice length.
Whole cluster pressed with minimal skin contact. Cool fermentation in stainless steel. Aged on the lees for 4 months, no malolactic fermentation to preserve fresh acidity and aromas.

This wine is special. The extremely low sulfur used in production – paired with special yeast used to outcompete any spoilage organisms – resulted in a really clean and complex wine with natural acidity, creamy mid palate, and nice length.
