Meet the wine
This is a big, bad, full-bodied cab in a can. The cabernet sauvignon is a love letter to the land from which it came — the Warnecke Ranch and Vineyard on Chalk Hill Road that sits at the intersection of four wine regions famous for making killer cabs. Before starting her label, Alice spent 6 years here working on the family vineyard, and her love for the land shows in each and every bottle (err… can). Her previous vintages have received accolades from critics and pubs like Alder Yarrow, Wine Enthusiast, Goop, and SF Chronicle — this is a serious wine folks.

Meet the maker
Alice is an artist, writer, and wine producer. After years in the art world, she felt the call to come home to Healdsburg to be the first to make wine from the family vineyard. Her wine, like her art, is elemental and honest — she prefers sketching portraits in person to connect with her subjects, and minimal-intervention, terroir-driven winemaking to connect wine-drinkers to the grapes and to each other. We thought it only fitting that Alice’s art be included; she sketched the hand and pencil that is drawing the label, pairing fine wine with intentional lines.
